Global leader in Health & Wellness is seeking a Sr. Manager:  Product Development.  This marketer, manufacturer, and seller of vitamins, minerals, herbals, supplements, protein bars and powders, is focused on enhancing the health and wellness of people’s lives.  Position will be responsible for planning/managing technical programs necessary to design, develop and optimize new and improved products that meet customer needs from bench to commercialization.  Includes working with cross-functional partners, such as Marketing, Consumer Insights and Sales.  Must manage complex external business relationships with technology partner companies, contract developers and manufacturers, consultants, vendors, and outside university experts to ensure projects are executed in an efficient manner. Candidate must have a minimum BS degree in Food Science or related field with 0-2 years of experience for the Food Technologist and 3-5 years of experience for the Food Scientist working in Research & Development in the Food, Beverage and/or Ingredient industry supporting new product development from concept to commercialization. Prior experience working with Plant Based Proteins or Hydrocolloids is ideal along with knowledge of quality systems and food safety.
