Groundbreaking food tech company is seeking a Chief Product Officer to lead Retail & Foodservice projects from concept through commercialization. Location is Chicago, Il. This on site position will report to the CEO. The role will orchestrate the technical work to deliver new products, productivity and overall product performance criteria. The role designs consumer-centric products across existing and new categories. This dynamic technical leader will translate functional ingredient and sensory sciences coupled with Food Safety & Regulatory requirements into a range of food categories. Candidates must have at least a 15+ years progressive technical innovation experience across Product and Packaging R&D, Quality, and Culinary Sciences at both CPG and start-up environments within food and beverage companies and at least 5 years leading a team. Experience creating groundbreaking products in Cultured Products, Plant Based Foods & Beverages, Meals & Enhancers, Frozen Foods experience preferred. This position will oversee all R&D, Culinary and Contractor Team Members to drive business value from customer project delivery. Location is Denver, CO. Responsibilities include: Own Customer relationship development and build positive, trusting relationships to effectively identify needs. Spearhead technical coordination of customer-focused activities such as innovation sprints or co-creations, ensuring successful execution and delivery of strategic account plans. Develop talent and expand the R&D team’s knowledge and capabilities. Embrace and drive positive change through developing processes that enhance customer project execution. Foster robust collaboration with commercial functions, translating industry and customer insights into innovative product solutions that deliver strategic, long-term business value.  Candidates must have a B.S degree or higher in Food Science or closely related discipline.
