This individual will oversee all quality, product safety, and regulatory activities and manage a team of 3 professionals. The manager will also implement and maintain processes and practices that will ensure high quality product supply. Successful candidates will have a B.S. in microbiology, food science, or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant experience. Preferred locations: Iowa, Chicago area, New York, New Jersey, Nevada, but an entirely remote location will be considered. (25-30% travel, higher if location is remote)

Candidate must have a minimum BS degree in Food Science or related field with 0-2 years of experience for the Food Technologist and 3-5 years of experience for the Food Scientist working in Research & Development in the Food, Beverage and/or Ingredient industry supporting new product development from concept to commercialization. Prior experience working with Plant Based Proteins or Hydrocolloids is ideal along with knowledge of quality systems and food safety.
